Estimated delivery times
United Kingdom: 2-5 business days

I’ll do my best to meet these delivery estimates but can’t guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the delivery method you choose.

Please be aware, VAT is not included in the prices shown and I am not VAT registered to collect VAT.


Returns, Cancellations, and Failed Deliveries:
I gladly accept returns and cancellations. Contact me within 14 days of delivery.
Send items back within 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within 2 hours of purchase

Returns
Please contact me before returning or thinking of returning an item, as a return may not be necessary, depending on the circumstances.
If the item(s) is damaged in transit, return postage will be refunded. Item(s) are to be returned within 30 days, but please contact me first, as a return may not be neccessary.

If it is a change of mind purchase, items can be returned to the seller, but the buyer bears the cost of return postage. Item(s) are to be returned within 30 days. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the item(s), minus the original postage costs.

If the item(s) is not returned in its original condition the buyer is responsible for any loss in value and this amount will be deducted from the refund amount.

If the item(s) I receive back is different from the item sent to the buyer, then no refund will be issued.

Failed Delivery
What happens if a buyer does not arrange re-delivery / collect the package / or the item is returned to sender?

In the event of a failed attempted delivery, in which the buyer does not collect their item(s) from the Postal Service or arrange a re-delivery of their item(s) and the item(s) are sent back to the sender (myself) eventually, upon receipt of the item(s), I will issue a refund, minus the original postage/shipping costs.

This also applies if a buyer has used an incorrect address when ordering. It is up to the buyer to ensure the correct address is specified.

Any request to change the address is not permittable, as to comply with seller protection, a seller has to send to the address on the order.

The size/dimensions of items are included in the item description. If you require more details of an item(s) dimensions, please contact me via contact us


Gift wrapping and packaging
I do not offer a gift wrap service at present.

All items are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, then in bubble wrap, large items will be shipped in boxes, using packing peanuts to protect the bubble-wrapped item(s), smaller items like jewellery, silver spoons are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard and are shipped in jiffy bags.

Cigarette card albums are shipped in Manilla board-backed envelopes, as are postcards.

Books will be well wrapped in acid-free tissue, then packed and shipped in jiffy bags with a cardboard back, very large books will be shipped with more protection.

How quickly are items dispatched?
I post daily Mon – Fri – except for UK Bank Holidays when the Post Office / Royal Mail is closed. The post is dispatched daily at 2pm, if an order arrives after 12pm, it will be dispatched the next working day (Mon – Fri – excluding UK Bank Holidays).

I also ship on Saturday mornings, if an order arrives after 8am on a Saturday, it will be dispatched on the following Monday, except if a UK Bank Holiday.

Any orders on a Sunday will be processed and packaged and dispatched on Monday, except if a UK Bank Holiday.


What are your UK postage and packaging costs?
All domestic (UK) orders include free shipping. The price is you see, is the price you pay. There is an option to upgrade your delivery to either Royal Mail 1st class signed for, Royal mail special delivery, or Parcelforce (for heavier items), this will incur an additional postage cost on top of the item price.


Are you open to offers on an item listed in your shop?
I am open to sensible offers on most items, so please do contact me with the price you would pay for an item.


Do you ship to a PO Box and will you also accept a change of address after a purchase has been made?
I do not ship to PO Boxes, this is stated in each listing. If you order an item and your address is a PO Box, I will have to cancel the order. Please do not ask me to ship to a PO Box, I will not do so, under any circumstance.

If a purchase is made and I receive a message to request the item is to be sent to a different address, I will refund the buyer and cancel the order, as I have to ship to the payment address to be covered by Paypal’s Seller Protection Policy. Please make sure, the correct address is selected when purchasing an item. Thank you.


Do you ship internationally?
At present, I do not via the website/webshop. I only post to UK destinations. If you are an international buyer from either Australia, Canada, or the USA and there is are item(s) you are interested in purchasing, please contact me, as I can list them on Etsy for purchasing.


Do you have a brick-and-mortar shop where you have items for sale?
Unfortunately, no. I did have a B&M shop in Halesworth, but with all the events of Covid-19, I did not renew the lease when it ended in Sep 2020.


Which payment methods do you accept?
At present, I accept Paypal payments.
