I made the decision last week to re-open my eBay shop after a hiatus of over two and half years.
The reason for the return? Because my shop on Etsy has suffered with a drop in sales since the end of March, as have other sellers.
This is mostly due to Etsy trying to micro manage sellers shops. Also, having to “jump through hoops” to obtain any visibility in a search.
It was worth it, within hours of my first batch of listings, I sold an item, and have sold a few more since.

Gallery Antiques Shop in Halesworth
Gallery Antiques can be found at 154 Chediston Street, Halesworth, Suffolk, opposite Market Place car park. There is two hours free parking.
The shop is open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9.30am – 1pm (also on Sunday’s if there are events on in town).
Come on down and have a browse for an eclectic range of antique, vintage and collectible items.
Items to include antiquarian and vintage and newer books. Vintage crystal glass and art glass, tableware, ephemera and postcards. Gold, silver and costume jewellery, silverware and lots more.
